Keeping up with all marketing and communication activities can become overwhelming. Projects can be short-term but also long-term, sub-tasks can be added quickly, decisions are made ad hoc. Keeping the overview is and remains a challenge voor marketeers who have a large brand portfolio. That’s why it’s efficient to always ask yourself: what are you doing right now?

Perhaps this question comes across as obvious. Actually it’s an invitation for the status update of what you are currently working on. Asking yourself the question “What am I doing right now?” can have a positive effect on how you can better accept and perform activities. This question is the right way to keep yourself focused on what you are currently doing.
To find out what you are currently doing, first ask yourself these questions:
1. What am I working on right now?

2. What does it involve?

3. What is the purpose of it?

4. What do I want to achieve as a result?
